'Springduro 150' Enduro & Open Practice Saturday at Sharon; Sunday Set as ...
HARTFORD, Ohio -- After hosting the second annual "Circle Track Showdown" Snowmobile Races two months ago, Sharon Speedway is gearing up for its next event as part of its 83rd anniversary season. Coming up this Saturday, March 24 will be the third annual "Springduro 150" featuring a 150-lap Enduro event along with an open practice for all divisions. In the event of extreme inclement weather, Sunday will be utilized as the rain date."We have a great facility and it's important we use it for multiple purposes and various types of events," explained second year GM Dave Willoughby. "Last year we coupled the "Springduro" with an open practice and it went over well despite the frigid conditions. We had 40 cars for practice even though the temperature really never even above freezing. I've had a lot of response about practice so I expect a good turnout."
The inaugural "Springduro 150" was won by Andy Sweetland, an Enduro veteran and E-Mod racer, from Spartansburg, Pa. Sweetland
