Folk-rock troubadour Peter Mulvey at VAE

NORTH BENNINGTON -- Singer/songwriter Peter Mulvey has just released a new CD, and it is filled with "The Good Stuff." But, you know, there is nothing like playing in front of a live audience -- and you don’t get any more live than on the Basement stage at the Vermont Arts Exchange.
"I like making records," Mulvey said in supplied material, "but my job is the live show: Getting up in a room and taking people somewhere. ... People need this. I need this. To come together in a room, to try to make music come alive, for real, for right now, and then to let it go ... that is the whole deal for me."
Proof of Mulvey’s "whole deal," will be evident when the VAE’s Basement Music Series stage is visited by the Milwaukee based Mulvey -- with another fine singer/songwriter
