Swift's dazzling performance
The problem is, that for all those primary-school aged girls, their expectations of what a concert should be like have been set high. Really high.
For more than two hours, the country-pop superstar performs a full-scale, theatrical production befitting a six-time Grammy-winning Nashville princess. It’s refreshingly smut-free. Swift knows what little girls are made of: By the end of the encore we’ve seen ballerinas, a bride, glitter cannons, fireworks and the singer herself in nine (count em!) different sparkling mini dresses and gowns.
Despite the support of a full band and a troupe of dancers on a lavish and romantic set, Swift manages to keep all eyes locked on her the entire time she is on stage. I guess that’s what they call ‘X factor.’
