Guitars Stolen After Girlfriend Receives Texted Eviction Notice
Beverly Ann Drive, Fenton
While the occupants of a home on Beverly Ann Drive, Fenton, were asleep upstairs on April 20 , a burglar broke into the car in their driveway and used a garage door opener to enter the home and steal a number of items, including the ignition key to a 1965 Cushman Supereagle motorcycle. Also missing were a DVD player, an angle grinder, a credit card, a debit card, $300 in cash and the garage door opener.
Although the homeowner could not provide any suspect information, he said it was likely someone familiar with his household since his dog recently had died.
Fiedler Court, Fenton
Several guitars and electronics were stolen from an apartment on Fiedler Court, Fenton, after a man texted his girlfriend that he wanted her to move out. Discovered missing were a black electric bass guitar with stripes cut out of the body, a gold Fender Squire electric guitar and a black acoustic Silvertone guitar. Also missing were a 42-inch Toshiba flatscreen TV, a Toshiba flatscreen computer, a cable Internet modem and bottles of amoxicillin and methadone prescription drugs.
