It is what it is. Cheapest guitar I could find, and rightly so. Came with three plastic (nylon?) strings and 3 steel. It is my first guitar, so I’m just going by what the description of the guitar is on Amazon, which doesn’t state this. Neck is chipped and painted over in parts. Otherwise a fine buy for a first guitar.

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, here are some of our favorite romantic movies. You supply a bottle of wine and a candlelight dinner, and the library will provide a romantic movie. Our recommendations:
Kathleen
"Casablanca": Probably my favorite movie of all time. Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman play two separated lovers who meet again in a city crawling with Nazi agents. The stakes are far higher than mere romantic resolution. "A Room with a View": Lucy Honeychurch longs for love and passion — where better place to find it than Florence, even if you are accompanied by a most repressive chaperone. "Mostly Martha": Martha is an intensely focused chef, driving her co-workers to distraction. Her controlled life is changed both by a tragic accident and by the arrival of an Italian sous-chef.
Jeanine
"When Harry Met Sally" starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan. Very funny and relatable, both characters are likable, obviously perfect for each other and best of all there's a happy ending. I never like movies without a happy ending. "Same Time Next Year" starring Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn. A man and woman share a romantic weekend every year for decades. They are happily married (mostly) but the complicating factor is that they are not married to each other. It's a surprisingly funny, touching, and romantic film as they go through all of life's ups and downs, not always in perfect sync, but always there for each other, at least for that one weekend.
