Hohner HW03 3/4 Size Acoustic Guitar
I purchased two of these guitars as gifts for my grandsons. I wanted guitars that were not toys (like ones I had purchased a couple of years earlier), but actual guitars that could be tuned and played. I was not disappointed with the Hohner HWO3 3/4 Scale Guitar. For my grandsons and me this is the perfect solution. A real guitar, not a toy, that can be tuned and played and doesn’t break the bank. I know that in the future a larger size and a higher price are inevitable, but for now these are perfect.
Very pleased with this. We bought it for our daughter’s 7th birthday. She’s already a piano player and she is now enjoying playing this guitar. I tune it for her and it sounds very pleasant. It looks nice too – has a shiny wood and looks like a proper “instrument” not a toy, and my daughter respects it. It’s a good size for her too. Good quality, good value.
Bought as a christmas present for my girlfriend (who asked for a guitar for her with small hands) and she loves it. Not only does she love it, but I have a 3/4 beginner guitar from another brand as well, and I definitely prefer this one! The price is definitely worth it, because the sound is great and will definitely get beginners confident in playing guitar.

Brown Bag lunch lecture: The GTM Research Reserve will host a brown bag lunch lecture from noon to 1 p.m. in the GTM Research Reserve Environmental Education Center, 505 Guana River Road, Ponte Vedra Beach. Join Timber Weller, Wildfire Mitigation Specialist with the Florida Forest Service, who will present on Prescribed Fire Burns and Wildfire Mitigation (Fire-wise landscaping). Bring lunch and join us for an interesting presentation. There is no cost to attend the lecture but reservations are required by calling 823-4500.
Parents Night Out: The St. Augustne Alligator Farm staff will entertain children in a safe and educational environment from 6 to 10 p.m. at the park, 999 Anastasia Blvd. The event includes two slices of pizza per person, drinks, a hands-on animal presentation, a twilight zoo tour, a craft, nocturnal games and other activities. Cost is $25 for members, $30 for non-members for ages 5 to 12 years. For reservations, call 824-3337, ext. 29.
